here is latest work... the book cover for "THE BLADE ITSELF" from Joe Abercrobie, and the US publisher "Subterran Press"
The whole image was done in Photoshop CS3.
I used some photo references for a more realistic look... and custom brushes from my own library as also some slightly modified versions from Daniel Dociu's set.
